I am a life member and currently live in Clifton Park (outside of Albany). I enjoy finding a quiet spot where I can relax and fish from the shore. Enjoy catching just about anything - bullhead, panfish, the occassional Bass. Does anyone know any places in my area where you can fish from the shore and just enjoy the day. Thanks very much.

Beleive it or not, Schenectady central park has amazing fishing any time of the day. There are two ponds full of  fish. The smaller one has Bream and large and small mouth Bass. The Larger pond has Bream, Catfish, Bass, and Carp. There is also a giant gold Carp that people have told me if you catch it, the city will cut you a check for $500.
