Attention to all of you that apply to the title of this, If you have kids that love to fish and are from ages 7-15, bring them down to Webster Pond from the FIRST Saturday in April until the LAST Saturday in September, they have kind of like a little tournament type thing...SIgn ups are on the first Saturday in April and cost just 10 for a season of fishing. The pond is stocked with rainbows, brook trout, and bass. But remember, there are huge carp in there and there are still Rainbows there from awhile ago and they are HUGE.Now, if you catch a record down there, a season record, you will have a banquet and be awarded a trophy. You can win in three different categories, Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, and Bass...Im 14, my first year that i was down there fishing was when i was 12, My first year i won the Rainbow category with a nice 22" 5 lb Rainbow, Now last year was my second year down there, i was 13, and yet again i had won in a category, but this time it was a Brook Trout, The Brookies down there are caught most often so they dont grow very big so you could win with a Brook Trout that is only about 10"...Mine was only 11" 9 oz and i won a record with that...I had back to back wins and it is very relaxing to be down there...SO once again if you live in the Syracuse area and know where Webster Pond is, bring your children down or if you are within the age limit, come down yourself...That is the FIRST saturday in April is when sign ups are, but you can come down during anytime in the season and sign up for just $10.00
