Hello NY it hit 53 degrees today and rain this morning. I was down in Margaretville this morning checking culverts for high water all was good.

Hello NY Quite the turn around today. The high was 31 degrees and the return of the white stuff. More snow predicted tomorrow.

Good mornin' Frank and the rest a you boogers...hehehe!  We have about 1 1/2" here so far with more to come.  Today I head to the mountains with the scouts.  We'll be at South Mountain sportsmens lodge for some ice fishing, sleding and eating!  I will also be teaching part of the fishing merit badge.  Ya'll have a grape Friday!

Hello everyone. Its been awhile since I've been on here. We had a foot of snow and more coming tonight. Weatherman say 6 to 12" I can't wait until spring.

Hello we got about 4" sofar and still snowing. One month away from opening day of trout season. ( not that I'm a trout fisherman)

Yep I agree channelcat March is the worst month of the year. You might get a day that hits 50 or 60 then next thing you know its near 0. One day it rains the next it snows. The only thing is it won't last for long we just have bare with it.

Hello everyone. It hit 56 degrees here today. But its suppose to bottom out at 12 Sunday night. Its just starting to rain, ice and maybe a little snow tonight and tomorrow. Pete I can't wait.

Good morning NY. We got lucky last night just rain no ice. It looks like more weather on the way.

The green is rain the pink be ice and the blueish is snow. It looks like I'll be getting the pink.

Man, the places I could go with an opening line like that, Frank, it just boggles the imagination (smacks forehead when he realizes he has no picture of an evil, long-haired gnome rubbing his hands together to attach to post). All the roads washed out down there yet, or just the paved ones?

We had some minor flooding but nothing serious. The Delaware river seem to have more problems than the Schoharie creek. It won't be long and the trout fisherman will be out there in full force. I like the weather a little warmer than early april usually provides.

It must be the fact that I don't drink coffee. I also can't remember catching alot or any large fish in extreme weather. Cold and suffering not catching any fish, why would I want to be out there. Oh yea I love to fish. emm...

How about this idea then. SInce I'm not nearly as mobile a fisherman as I used to be these days, we just throw a few logs in a cheap portable charcoal grill and swap fish stories bankside while we wait for things to get interesting. If nothing else we could eat a hot meal and keep the chocolate up to temperature.
