Looking for any information about the fishing around the Massena area. I will be up there the weekend of May 17th and am looking to do some fishing of course. Would like to catch some crappies if they are hitting but if something else is hitting good around that time I wouldn't hesitate to go for them.

I live in Ohio so am not familiar with the area at all so any and all help will be greatly appreciated :)

I can't help with the crappies but the walleye fishing is good,it's been around 10 years since I have been there. I was there for the walleye opener on may 1st. and caught some nice fish, walleye and smallmouth. The grass, and Raquette river both hold good fishing. A green twister tail grub on a jig worked best for me. Good luck.
