My home lake (Oneida) has been changing. For generations it has been a world class lake for walleyes & yellow perch!!  Now it is warming & clearing up. It is now known for Small Mouth Bass & White Perch. A retired fishing guide is spreading news about the wt perch. No limit in size or numbers! He claims they are great fighters & taste great. Stories about people in southern states filling their freezers for the winter. The are said to have such a population explosion that they now out number the walleye & yellow perch combined!! The guide said he had caught over 50 in 1 hr useing a worm on a crawer harness. I've got a little room in my freezer...anyone care to join me for a few hrs?       Chuck 

I live to far up north but the guide is right. white pearch taste great more than willing biters and huge numbers. have at them.
