I am moving to NC from Nashville in about 2 weeks. After we get settled, I hope to get out to fish.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on fishing in the W-S/GSO area or within a few hours drive. In freshwater, I mainly go after trout, although I am very interested in getting into stripers. (I know some areas to the west and south of Asheville for trout.) I do most of my saltwater fishing in the Wilmington area. Any suggestions, names of guides, etc. would be appreciated.
