does anyone have any tips on striper fishing in nc?

Hey Keefe striper fishing is alot of fun. Again I fish badin for them. Thats usally the best time of year to catch them. I usally use downlines straight below the boat and freelines in back of the boat. I use circlehooks with the freelines.  I use florocarbon with all my leaders.  I mostly target the areas where the shad gather in the falltime. On badin thats from the RxR bridge down to the islands. Stripers move around so much it's hard to say exactly where they will be day to day. At Highrock look for places with the most bait and creekmouths. Usally in the falltime shad will gather on the resiviors in the upper section of the lake. I would think Highrock is the same.
