i am goin to north carolina red fishing this summer does any one know what i should use to catch em'

The answers are almost as numerous as to what you can get bass to eat.  Reds will at times eat almost anything you try to feed them if you are talking about the juvenile inshore fish.

Those larger beasts that you can't even keep are caught primarily on cut bait.

Don't discount the idea of night fishing for both as they eat 24/7.

if you are gonna go to the point in hatteras, the best bait to be usin is cut pogy's aka menhaden.
