Arv1 here checking in. BigDog and myself were talking the other day that it would be cool to have regular meetings in different areas just to keep in touch and make planning the next meet a little easier. I hope to get some input from members around the state.

Secondly I want to extend an invitation to any NAFC member to participate in any meeting or meet that we may have. Yes even those Pittsburgh fans. LOL!

It has been exciting and learning session putting together this meet. The energy generated by everyone helping could light up New York. I am very pleased to say the meet is comming right along nicely and our numbers continue to increase which has already exceeded our expectations. As the chairman I want to thank everyone working hard to make this meet happen, looking at the numbers we are about to have one of the largest meets in the country and quite possibly the largest first meets ever.

Thanks again and I hope to see all of you at our meet May 3rd thru 6th at West Branch State Park.

I almost forgot I am a fulltime firefighter for the City of Canton and currently reside in Canal Fulton.

The closest lake for me is Lake Loramie. I live about 4 hours away from the meet, but I am making the trip with a good friend of mine. I am married with a lovely young daughter named Elizabeth. I am very excited about the meet and can't wait to pick the brains of some of the seasoned anglers for any tips and tricks that I can add to my fishing arsenal. I am in the process of building my own 3/4 acre pond, so hopefully in a few years, I won't have to go far for some great fishing.
