Anyone wanting to go to Buck Creek fishing with us on Oct. 20, here's a few motels in the area. Might be too cold to camp at that time!

ok, I've got a few to pick from. These are all mom and pop motels, nothing spectacular, but most of the big chains are like $60 night & up.

Harmony Motel ~ Harmony is a little town between Buck Creek and I70
    4725 E. National Rd. (St. Rt. 40)
    937-324-3339
    1 bd - 2 ppl - $37
    2 bd w/children $51 w/out children $46

Fairfax Inn(this is the cheapest chain motel)
    1870 West First Street
    937/323-9554
    2 ppl 44.88 night

Springfield Motel (mom & pop, nice on phone)
    4040 E. National Rd. - Rt. 40
    (937) 325-6991
    $35 1 or 2 ppl 1 bd - no chg kids?

Town House Motor Lodge (guy I talked to on phone was a foreigner if that makes any diff)
    3200 E National Rd,
    937) 325-7661
    1 bd - $40
    2 bd - $50

If y'all can't find something here, don't know what to tell ya!!!

I will be calling tomarrow about motel reservations. I will let you all know which one. I will see if there is a discount group rate. I was wondering if the water level will still be up enough dto launch a boat. Pillman why don't you join us it would be fun.

Aaron, If you are planning on staying and getting a room I can help you out. You would need to be at my place in Canal Fulton by 6:00 on Sat. morning. From there I am coming to Amy's to pick up her and the bost, then to Buck creek. On Sunday it would be in reverse order. Let me know if you are interested.
