Does anyone have any tips on fishing around Put-in Bay(south bass island)? My wife and I took our honeymoon up there a few years back, and we are wanting to take the kids and go back. I would like to do some fishing while there if anyone can offer any tips. Thanks in advance.

If you have a boat there is walleye , perch and smallmouth to be caught around S. Bass. If you don't have you might try one of the head boats out of either Tibbel's marina or Drawbridge marina. There are several Charter Boat capts in that area that are club members. Playinghooky charters out of Port Clinton and Mr twister charters. Down by the wildwings area there is Risingsun Charters. I can probably get you a number of these charters if you are interested.

Thanks FFFisch. It is really nice up that way. I cant wait to go back, and catch some fish this time. Perry's memorial is very interesting as well. Wouldn't mind visiting that again while I'm there.
