Is there any place in or around Cleveland that anyone is catching fish at, at this time? I have been trying in Lake Erie at the edgewater piers and at Sweet Water landing on the Rocky River and not been catching a damn thing. Yes, I have been even trying at night. Livers, minnows, crawlers, lures, and leeches with no success. Many others are in the same boat as me. I think the only thing i have caught was a 3" sheephead (white Bass) and many others have caught less than that. So please, if anyone knows of some place they are biting in or with in 30 min of Cleveland let me know, pleeeeaaaaassssseeee?

Okay the Rocky River south of wallace lake in Berea is a good fun spot for bluegills. Was catching them all afternoon on crawlers but be careful when you do catch a keeper. Place that baby in a cage cause there is a pesky turtle that will try to take them right off you stringer. Still on the hunt for a good catfish spot up here though, I am able to drive about 30 minutes outside of cleveland.

We have a few members that live not far from your area. Aarhunt (Aaron), lives down below Medina and knows a few places around there to fish. Are you able to get out to the Elyria/Vermillion areas at all ? There's some good fishing out therte as well. Also, if you can get in touch with Merlin, he used to live down in the 150th street area and is now up in the Detroit.Michigan area, he still monitors this site as well as the ohio chapter's site and he might be able to tell you a few places to try. Good luck to you and mabe we'll get to meet you some time at one of our functions. Have a good one. BD

Thanks Big Dog I will send him a PM. I am taking a friend fishing tomorrow that is just learning how to fish. I need some place to take her where she will catch something. Sweet Water Landing on the rocky river res is a good spot to sit but not many fish are getting caught. So I am in need of someplace that is with in a 30 minute drive of Cleveland that has restroom facilities. Please, either respond here or email me directly at raven@darkhome.org. Thanks all, I love this place.
