CJ Marina lastThurs, along N inside 50? ft E of wall, a large rock pile topped by a large boulder, appearred  ice 1" thinner in 2-3 than in slightly farther ones. Possible spring/ weep? Watched several 10-12" walleye (immediately released) and 25- 30 bluegills and several 10-11" crappies caught on small jigs with and w/o small minnows and/or spikes. Would guess 5-7' deep, some snow cover probably reduced ambient light penetration. Again, surprised no perch were caught. Also fished last inside bend of  south breakwater, 8-10' deep over 6 brush blocks that over last summer produced several nice 3-4 pd smallmouth. Had several bites, one harder than others, but so far no luck. Hope to try again with better results.
