As a group we are required to make the GPS positions of all sets and groups PUBLIC knowledge, as per our permission to do this. Due to the lenght of the list, will post 2 groups at a time, roughly each week. We are NOT asking for anything in return, however, the active members will have a complete list well before the 4th of July.      # 10 -39 "C" trees and brush blocks 30-45` off of point between outlet tower and beach, in 8-15` water summer pool.         #11 off N side of Main Boat Ramp breakwater wall, in 3 sets,  #11A has 12 trees 30-40` off of large white drainage tile in 8-15` water.  #11B has 12 trees midway down breakwater in 8-15` of water 30-40 off of wall.  #11C has 12 trees  in 8-15+` water 20- 30` due N of red marker light.(This set produced 2 17" crappies last Memorial weekend!)  These same sets should hold fish over the winter, if anyone has any luck please feel free to let us know.  Was going to post same info on Ohio Game Fishing but lost password info-haven't heard back from them.   Thanks and enjoy. Respectfully, The Friends of CJ Brown Reservoir.

Anybody see the Sports section of The Springfield News-Sun today?  An honest 9+ lb walleye that was supposedly caught by the Marina. Rumors have it that perhaps was not the case,  that the actual site of the wally hog`s tragic  demise were quite cunningly preplanned, and involved a rather long walk  lugging all the instruments necessary to commit the act, by a faded red marker on a tree placed there by ODNR. He may have also caught a " a few other fish" there. Knowing Jason`s skill, I hope he left "a few other fish" for the rest of us! The faded red streamer marks the W edge of #10, and is fishable from shore if you can survive the walk in. There are 9 supers (brush blocks with "C" trees on heavy blocks in 8-15` water, almost in a perfect row. If up for the walk, or afloat, try it, you might like it, but DO EXPECT some snags. Catch a big perch for me, if I and the crew don`t beat you to it! Good luck and let us know.
