Will be back down the hill below Crabill House this Thursday the 25th to cut the lower limbs off the "C" trees (20 left to do) and marry the  80 of them to the awaiting blocks. Probably wont get them all done, but before iceout there will be another 140 stacked up on the beach there waiting on their rides to 13 sites on the W shore of CJ, from just N of the lower Visitors parking lot turn around to close to where the old roadbed comes back out of the lake. We are meeting at noon to gitter done, and anyone interested is welcome to stop by, weather permitting, of course. These should create/ enhance some great crappie spots and the positions will be made known after placement. Respectfully, The Friends of CJ Brown Reservoir.

3 of us got in, snow had drifted more than we had thought , and wind picked up significantly. Only spent hour , must admit got down right fierce! On a majority vote  we promptly turned tail and beat a rather hasty retreat. Will try again later when weather is more favorable. Suprisingly, was a small edge of water right along the beach , and part of gravel was thawed. Figure!
