Hello! Am Lowell H Turner, 50ish shortly, former military (24+ yrs) one of the Friends of CJ Brown Reservoir. Enjoy attempting fishies improvement on a small scale, one reservoir at a time as a hobby. Also, while a firm believer in catch and release, known to remove afew from the gene pool, occasionally. Currently fighting a drawn out battle with a less than dry basement, hopefully gaining the upper hand; while it`s not the beginning of the end of the soggy mess, am sure have turned the cornerof the damp dundgeon and have seen the end of the beginning of it. Have fished for 39ish yrs and hope have a few left to enjoy. Goal is to subdue 10+ lb wallygator from CJ, there are a couple in that soon to "green up" body of water, and would love so much to reach out and touch one of those graet-great-great grandma tooth fairies straight in her rather fangy jaws. "Oh my!! What big sharp long FANGS you have, Great- Great- Great Grandma Tooth Fairy!!" You will probably guessed that am occasionally long winded, a fault to be sure. Will shortly post remaining GPS positions for Lake Erie South 2, I do appreciate the Club`s forebearance, and would honestly love to hear any success stories from them. Thank you, and good luck! |

Hey guys, my names alex.
I have only ever freshwater fished, not really interested in saltwater, but would for sure try it. I fish for large and smallmouth, crappie, bluegill, perch mostly, that is what my private lake has stocked... but i have a serious interest in trout, moreso than any other fish. call it an obsession if you will.
I have only been one time in tennesee, and would love to know if i can find trout anywhere near cincinnati. i hear this lake a few miles away has them in springtime. cant wait until next spring. i might end up trying to go to tennisee soon and rainbow trout fish.
I fish solely shimano, diawa(sometimes) and BPS rods, and nothing but shimano reels. I do have others, but love shimano the most because i have never ever ever had a problem with them. I preffer spiderwire mono, but will use trilene if i have too. i like to be a very finicky fisherman when it comes to gear, but i dont buy things because there expensive, and top dollar. if it works it works.
Enough blabbin tho, Have a wonderful day, gonna head out here soon to grab a few LM before i go to sleep. I am a recovering drug addict, i have been 3 and a half months clean. i find fishing the hobbie to take all the stress and bad things away in my life.

Thanks guys, i love it here, i found me a new forum home. I used to be into drugs really bad. I got into heroin really bad. I am now off that stupid substance, infact i dont use any drugs. I do however go to a methadone clinic to maintain my sobriety. while it is a 'drug' im using it as a maintenance tool and am prescribed legally. FISHING is my ANTI DRUG. for real it is. im so much happier now that i am off drugs, i dont even really drink anymore! |

Just saw this post or I would have posted here instead of starting a new post. Well as I said I live in a small town of Summerfield OH. Just off of the back waters of Seneca Lake. Bass fishing has been good there last week with the cool down we had. Bass fishing is something new for me. I enjoy doing it. Just been doing it for three years and into my fourth season. I mostly catfish Seneca back waters. There was a 58 LB flathead pulled out of there last weekend. Wasn't me. I am a Volunteer Firefighter for the pass 30 years and EMT-I the pass 18 years. I certainly hope to get to meet some of you folks sometime in the near future. |
