Many larger WB are being caught off the Dam retaining wall, alot are coming from the area approx. 900` S of the Handicap fishing sidewalk there and some further down towards the Tower. PLEASE NOTE- fishing within 700` of the Tower IS ILLEGAL as one person today was fined for fishing there. Larger White Bass are also being caught outside the Marina (#15A-C ) and the Handicap Platform on N outside of Marina. They are also running into Buck Creek where it flows into the N end of the reservoir. The majority are being taken on shad (silverish) or black Beetlespin and Roadrunner spinner jigs, although slip bobbers with jig and minnows are also scoring. Look for schools of shad skittering on the surface as PRIME casting targets- those shad are flying out of the water for a very good reason! One gentleman caught 15+ WB all over 12+" with several going over15" on #15A. Good luck and score while the fishing`s HOT!!!  Can`t WAIT untill the crappie get in on their spawn- that sunken cover is going to become PRIME real estate.

WB are being caught on face of dam in large numbers, Beetlespins, Roadrunners and Rooster Tails doing the bulk of the execution, again silver and white the go to colors. They are also being caught on slip bobber and jig combos there and in and outside the Marina and the Handicap fishing area (#16) also on N side of the Main Boat Ramp (#11A, B, and C). 2 persons came into the Baitshop to buy spinner baits, we had nare a one left, said they were seeing swarms of shad? in Buck Creek and had landed several WB in 25+ minutes untill they both lost their rooster tails to snags. They departed post haste to WalMart. Observed Jerry hook a fish he said was wallyeye on the end of S breakwater at Marina, got back cleanly cut line, at bank! He fell forward thought he REALLY wants that fish! Unfortunately, tooth fairy had sharp fangs and completely different ideas and literally slapped water in his face as he tried to grab it. Oh, for the want of a net...earlier a gentleman posted on  another site he also hooked another in or around Marina, exact area unknown, the decision went to him, believe his 12th? of the year. Congrats to Intimidator. They`re out there, they`re seemingly ravenous and a couple degree rise in the main lake will see the bigger female crappies come into the fray, hopefully in large numbers. Good luck and post if you do any good.
