Was wondering if any of you have ever fished this lake. I am orginally from Oklahoma and finally I am getting stationed at Fort Sill, and plan on buying a house next to this lake. Some insider tips would be helpful for when I get there.

How has Lake Ellsworth treated you?  Thought about going a few times. Any tips? My boat is down right now, so is there a fishing dock there?
We love to catch crappie, bass, perch, and ofcourse catfish.

The fishing is good during the winter thru early summer June.

There are two different docks to fish from on the south side of the lake.

One is on the west side & the other is on the east side.

    Great catfish,walleye& saugeye fishing.

Trolling rattle-traps and fat wraps for walleye & saugeye on the lake &

fishing with shinners off the shore.

    Catfish-punch bait & srimp.

I appreciat the tips. I will have to try it out. I'll let you know how I did. I like to use Bill's stink bait when I catfish, so I may try it out one of these evenings. How are the camping facilities there?
