There are fish, but it's just the beginning. It can be a zoo out there, but if there weren't a lot of fish <!--graemlin:;)-->. The Tillamook, Trask, Wilson, Kilches, and Miami Rivers all have healthy Fall Chinook runs, and all empty into the bay. Then there is Nehalem Bay to the north, Nestucca bay, Siletz bay, and on and on heading south. They all have big fish and healthy runs, and about now pick 'em. Each fishery seems to have their own methods and styles. Put your boat in, watch how they are fishing, and join in. I'll be gearing up in the next few weeks for tidewater and move up into fresh once the rains come and raise the water levels. If you want to float in the driftboat sometime, let me know. Usually Oct -end of Dac.
