Does anyone know when the sportsman show at the Portland Expo center is? I think it's next month. We just had a boat show at the Deschutes expo center this weekend.

    Thanks.

I am sure going to try to go pending blizard conditions. We picked up 4 inches of snow this morning and It's still snowing hard.

That's a nice boat Ogre.. I know just what you mean by difficult to trailer.

The boat pictured in a snowy previous post is a 1974 Reinell 28 foot flying bridge cabin cruser. It has been in the family since it was brand new. It was handed down to me 10 years ago. I wish it had twin engines. The 400 HP I/O is not the best on fuel economy, but then the the boat weighs 9600 lbs and it's almost 14 feet high and 9 feet wide when it is trailered. It's still fun to use though. I can camp right in it. Has twin bunks, kitchen, and on board bathroom. I would love to purchase a new one someday but boats are so darn expensive. Besides the Reinell has been rock solid and dependable for many years other than normal repairs. The motor and outdrive in it now only have 300 hours on them. I can't wait for spring.

    Good Fishing.

its not towing thats a problem but launching . i dont trust people enough to want to leave my boat at the dock until i can get my truck to the water and being so big and nice it gets alot of attention. and then trying to get it back on the trailer takes five of six tries and all by myself it is a little much for me. right now i have an 18 foot intruder that looks the same on hold but a single 115 and its blue . i am taking a big hit selling the boat it was over 80 and still has extended warenty on the motors. i am just hoping that somebody from canada comes down and falls in love with it . right now there dollar is better than ours and they can get more for their money here in the states

hey bill i dont see or maybe dont understand the other thing about a snowy boat picture

I have to work Weds but I would go Thursday.  Not sure what the show hours are, but I wouldn't mind going when they open up.  What part of Portland do you live in Richard and where would you want to meet.  I'm in Wilsonville so I'll have to go by you somewhere.

Congrats.  Set at least until another pretty girl catches your eye.  Hope you enjoy it and foul the decks with Springer blood.
