Busy, busy, busy. I get time to pop in on occasion, but not for long stretches like I was before these two jobs. The rivers are prime right now, and I can't go fish. Bummer. Today is Honeydo day. I fish tomorrow with Andrew, Matt, Chris (buddy of Andrews) and my best freind Ron. We'll probably hit the Nehalem for big natives. Or we may go ahead and drift the Nestucca to see if we can pick up a few clipped fish. I'm not sure if Matt brought his boat down or not. If he did, w'd have room for all five of us in the two boats. The boys are fishing today, which will likely determine where we fish tomorrow.
My days are pretty full right now during the week. Up at 4:00, on the computer for the one job. If I have to go to the norrthern office, jump in the truck and drive 60 miles north. Back down this way to work at Dick's from 5:00pm -9. Back home, check late e-mails and to bed by 11. I leave Friday morning for a whirlwind three days in Minneapolis and back 10:00pm Sunday night and start it all over again Monday morning. I'm going to have to start setting up meetings at csstomer sites to get ready for the Show in Vegas at the end of next month. I'm going to have to schedule a couple meetings on the water, like I used to do when I was working before. A salesman would call me up to sell me something and we'd go to the river. Captive audience for three hours in the truck, a little break for fishing in between.
Enough about me, how you doing? You planning your trip in November this year to get into the big boys? I'm thinking I'll be ready for a few days on the water in a row by then. We'll have to see what we can do about getting another plane ticket donated like this last year. Maybe with everyone hammering the club officials about getting involved, we can get them to pony up the ante. We'll see.
