On a side note--I got some live bait for tomorrow morning:worm and leeches. I also got hubby a license online <!--graemlin::D-->.I hope he meant it when he said this would not be our only trip. I ran into some locals at the Redner's and they confirmed a rumor about a very large walleye just sittin there. Nobody has been able to tempt her. That's why I'm going with the live leeches. Weather is expected to be cloudy all day, sooo...I am sooooo excited. I won't be able to sleep. <!--graemlin::rolleyes:--> |

Hey Joey any input about the meet pics. Let me know cause i'll send them a letter. It's not a big deal where we go to me so just count my vote for wherever. |

Originally posted by: AmazinGrace on 5/28/2006 8:13:23 PM Just a note to let evryone know that there are big fishies in the stilling basin. By the way, I had fun with (hubby)Bob when we went fishing. He complained about the bugs--I handed him the spray. He started spraying the air. I told him he had to spray it ON himself. He got one tangle after another. So, I handed him my rod to help him out of a bird's nest. He felt the action on my Phleuger and said, "I see how it is--you have the Cadillac and you gave me a Chevette." "Well," said I, "it's good thing, too. You keep throwing yours on the ground." So I proceeded to get his rod situated; taking one of the extra hooks off. "you give me a Chevette and now you remove one of the cylinders!" He had trouble setting the hook. We had lots of bites, and the big fishies were popping their heads from the water to look at us. (I think they were having a laugh under water.) I actually had a nice perch on my line, but when I turned to check on Bob's issues with yet another tangle--he threw the hook. So, no fish were landed. Will try again another time. Also, I am fine with the 23rd and the 30th R/Date. |

I'd love to hook up for some Safe Harbor catfish off the dam with some members or some late night carp hunting at Marburg.
It's just a matter of making it work. |

Originally posted by: lendog6963 on 5/30/2006 1:25:35 PM another idea is everyone bring one new lure to add to the pool and the biggest fish wins the pool, that way everyone adds to the prize, and it could be 10 or 15 lures dependin on how many show up <!--graemlin:;)--> <!--graemlin::cool:-->
