I fish that lake a lot. I haven't seen any musky yet. I read in a couple magazine articles that there are supposed to be pike in there, but haven't seen any of them either. I did hook into a monster walleye on time but lost it at the boat. It had to be at least 30 some inches. Frowner<!--graemlin::(-->

Anyone ever fish Muddy Run for Musky? I watched one take a duckling in the shallows tweny years ago and I've never forgotten it. I'm headed that way next weekend, and I'd like to give the big boys a run. Any thoughts. Thanks.

I caught my first fish on that lake. Four years old with the faamous 3' brown and tan Zebco. According to my old man, it was a 10lb 27" largemouth. I thought he was full of it for years, but when I got my first fish mounted he paid for the whole thing because he felt guilty about eating the biggest bass I'll ever catch.

To be honest, I have never been in it. My fishing partner always goes in to pay because he has to give then his liscence plate number. I usually am busy getting the boat ready.

I live near Muddy Run Lake and used to work there partime for PECO. There are Tiger Musky there and some all other kinds of fish. Some parts are said to be 90ft deep. They sell worms and lures at the Bait Shop. They are there mainly to rent boats.
The Resivor has some huge Stripers in it and big Musky and big Crappies but is only fishable at one end. I have seen guys spooled, when one of them huge Stripers took their lures.
Its a real nice place to camp and fish if you want to take the family. The price a few years ago was only $20 a night.

John, I have heard about the lower lake having huge striper too. Any chance there are any in the upper lake? Would love to hook into one. I hooked into a monster walleye on the upper lake, but lost it at the boat. Frowner<!--graemlin::(--> Are the tigers in the upper or lower lake, or both? Also, is it best to fish the lower lake at full draw, or when they are releasing.
