Hi there I am kind of new around here. Does anyone have any fishing spots that they would not mind shearing with me. I would appreciate it greatly thanks.

I'm not all that familiar with the waters really close to philly? The closest one I fish is Marsh Creek near the town of Eagle. It's a nice lake with multiple species.

They do rent boats at Marsh Creek and there is plenty of shore fishing. Good luck wherever you find to go. Keep us updated!

where do they rent boats out there cause where i went last time i did not see any boat rentals. i was probably not in the right spot, and how much are they i will go check it out. Do you know if there is any saltwater fishing in PA down in this area cause I heard that salt water fishing is more fun perhaps the Delaware river cause it looks like it connects to the ocean on maps that I looked at. Don't get me wrong any fishing is better than not fishing at all, but I heard that salt water fish are bigger and put up a better fight so they should be more exciting to catch.

Sorry, I only now saw your question. I'm not familiar with the roads around Marsh Creek. There are two boat launches on either side of the lake. You might have been on the opposite side from the rentals? Not sure of the prices, I never rented one but you might be able to do a search on the internet to get directions and prices? The Deleware river would be good to catch stripers and American shad if you hit it at the right time. Both are ocean fish that come up the river to spawn.

    Hey all.

    New to the forum.

I fish the Wissohicken every few days for trout (up near Bells Mill Roads).

Recently heard about a place called The Brickyard near Quakertown...

    Anyone know of it?

    Thanks.

Hi, I live in Philly also. I go up to Langhorne. haven't had much luck. Thinking of fishing the delaware.
There should be some action there. Haven't been fishing lately though.
