Went out again with my 5 year old daughterand struck out again.  We couldn't even catch Sunnnies!  saw fish on the fishfinder, but nothing bitin.  Water temp said 79.  Could this be the reason,or am I that bad?

That lake is extremely tough!  So don't feel bad...Heck, ole Scott and I have had the skunk in the boat many a day on the Marsh!  LOL!  But I do feel that it takes a good deal of time on the water and a good fish finder (so that you can find the bait pods)...Of course it helps to fish with someone that knows how to use the jig & pig!

I was at B-Marsh again.  This time with a trolling motor, and with conditions slightly more favorable.  I managed to catch a couple of small cats 12" and 15", as well as bass about the same size.  Felt good to catch a few.  I thought I'd lost the touch.

I spent three consecutive days at the marsh, early in Sept.  During those three days we landed several sunnies, a few small LMB, a 12" SMB and we had a fish hooked while trolling the main channel but lost it before we could get it all the way into the boat.  I need some repairs on my trolling motor so I hope I can get out before they lower the water level...
