Saluda, Broad and Congree rivers are all good usually. Lakes Murray and Monticello both are closer than Charleston.

Welcome, I live in columbia as well. The best place round here i know of to fish is Murray, of course i dont get out to fish much so im not real sure of other places round here and Ive only fished murray once. my family owns a small farm with a pond right across highway 378 from murray so thats where i fish all the time. Dont know anything or anyone with boat repair knowledge though, sorry!

I'm get by but just barely. You know what they say when it rains it pours. I'm done fishing for a while because my big motor died (I think its the power pack) and I went fishing Saturday and lost the prop off my trolling motor.

I am glad to see some of us are still here though.
