Hey all, my buddy's planning a trip to Sante Cooper for the first week of April...my only down South (I'm in NY) fishing trip was a week on Dale Hollow a few years back, our second night there we had a "Hundred year storm"...Woke up to find ice in our minnow bucket, and a chocolate brown lake with whole trees floating by...fish shut down the whole week. My question is, is this too early for a trip? What would be the fish and tactics of choice? (okay, that's 2 questions) Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
