Hello all . Anybody out there having any luck with the striper on Lake Murray ? I've only been getting small ones , 3 and 4 pounders over by the towers which is supposed to be a good spot . I'm using live herring , sometimes cut herring usually about 30-50 feet deep . Got a nice gar a few weeks ago but I always seem to get one or two of those menacing critters ! Is there a better spot out there I'm not familiar with ?

We usually fish about the gap during the winter months. I haven't heard anybody saying anything about catching any lately.
