Haven't heard any news from the SC fishermen(and ladies) . Anyone having any luck ? If so where and with what ? I heard striper are hitting good on lake murray but between 22:00 and 02:00 . Also heard the bass and crappie vanish at sunup but will play for a while before . I will try to get out there next weekend to see if the rumors are true , I'll keep all posted if anyone's here....

Heard some good catches on cats at Monty but thats about it. My pontoon is stripped and my jon doesn't have a motor on it right now so I'm fishless.

Your welcome to come along with me if you want . I wont be going this weekend but I will for sure next weekend . Where abouts do you live ? I'm in West Columbia , about 20 minutes from the dam - thats where I usually put in .

Any time . I hope you get your boat ready soon . I'll let you know how I do next weekend . This weekend we are going to Seabrook Island so I will do some surf fishing . They've got a nice pond there too with some good bass so I'll be hitting that too . I'll post anything I catch there as well .

Had a couple of nice crappie and a bass at Goodale State Park this week fishing at the spillway.

There are also a few crappie in the creek below the spillway.

Sounds good Harold ! I caught some whiteing , a seabass and a baby shark this past weekend surf fishing off Seabrook Island . Couldn't make out what kind of shark it was though , looked like a black tip but not sure if they're indigenious to this area . I am heading out tomorrow morning on Lake Murray for some Bass and Striper , I'll keep y'all posted !!

    Welcome to the bunch Harold.

I was trying to get my pontoon back to gather but haven't had much luck. My wood got wet and then I had a kidney stone. I'll fish again someday.

Sorry to hear that rat . You'll be back up and running soon I hope ! I went this past Saturday and only caught a good sized sunfish . You're not missing much on Lake Murray , apparently nobody I talk to is doing so good .

    Good luck at Murray.

I hope to get a little more done on the pontoon this week. I might even try to take the jon boat somewhere close by the house.
