Yes I live in Murfreesboro and have for the past 23 years. I love living in a smaller town as compared to Houston, Dallas and Memphis. I have been fishing in this area for bass ever since. I find that Percy Priest is only about 20 miles to the southern most launch ramp. I enjoy fishing the 3 forks of the Stones River as much if not more than the big lake. The Stones river feeds Percy Priest and there is no 15 inch limit on it either like Priest. Last time we went to Priest we caught maybe 22 or 23 bass and only 2 of them made the 15 inch limit. And boats evverywhere on Priest. That's one reason I go to the most southern boat ramp, yes it's a secret, I won't give the name here online, mainly because I can go there and some days I won't see any other boats, but if I do it will only be one or two. I have some really great spots in that area and have caught a 7-1/2 pounder out of there 2 years ago. I took my daughter there when she was 12 and we caught probally 50 bass that day, but again only 4 of them made the 15 inch limit. Tennessee has some super great fisheries, just take the time to seek them out. There's nothing like fishing with a buzz bait at night during a full moon on the Stones river, WOW!! FUN for sure!!
