Give it about 2 years and I'll be contacting you Pokey.  I love striper fishing.

    Mike,

Head west on 79 in a short while you will hit Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake.

These lakes are noted for excellent Crappie fishing amoung other things. Check out http://www.tennesseevalleyoutdoors.com/ for fishing reports etc.

Kentucky Lake & Lake Barkley appear to be big long enough with enough flow for Stripers.

I'm sitting over here in Knoxville. We just had a great FLW bass tourney.

I believe your getting one on Kentucky Lake , you need to check it out, they put on a great show.

Mike, Clarksville's my home town. I'm in Springfield now and new to NAFC. I just did my first Trout fishing trip in Arkansas and now I'm hooked. I'm gonna start hitting some of the old streams and creeks I used to swim in as a kid and see what they produce. If you're interested I just tried (real quickly) a spot on 41A about 3 miles East of Hwy. 49 (exit 24). Great walking stream and lots of deep holes. If you're interested let me know.

It's good to know you like TN.Maybe clarksville's better, but if you came to Mc Minnville you would hate tn.There one state park Rock Island and it's been low for quite awhile now at first they said it would be fixed soon and now they say not for 7-10 years.I hate TN.They don't improve a thing in this area and when you complain they just tell you not to call or they'll arrest, but when you still pay for fishing license.TN is a ripoff.I'm moving out of TN soon and to a better state.Maybe where you live donnie gill it's good, but Mc minnvile is the worst city to ever come to in the state of TN.If you ever have a complain about clarksville you'll find otu how lousy TN is because they don't care how you complain they'll just laugh it off and tell you not to call back.TN is a ripoff!!You like the fishing in Clarksville?I hate the Mc Minnville waters.Good luck catching fish there.

DUDE!!Who wants to waste alot in gas to go so far.I live in this are,so this area should be good, too, but they don't fix anything,so I'm just relocating soon.I have fished those waters you said and them are good holes, but to have to travel all the time, adds up.I can relocate for less than the cost to keep traveling back an forth to those holes.I'll just be relocating soon to a better state. This state doesn't care about it small cities for nothing. It's a ripp off living in this city,so I'll just relocate to a better state and find better holes elsewhere.
