Jesse,
I'm sorry about the confusion, and where we will be camping. I did not know the campsite number myself until today when I saw where Kai posted it. I called the Corps of Enginneers yesterday and made my post and did not know our campsite number when I posted. I'm sorry, I did not mean to leave you hanging out in the wind, and was not home yesterday evening to read any following posts after I made my post. Rest assured you can come into the campground on any day you arrive, as long as it is before ten p.m. at night when they lock the gates to the campground. There is no charge for coming into the gates, and we will find you a place to camp when you get there. Had I been hear to read your follow-up post I could have saved you some frustration because the Corps of Engineers people are the ones to speak with and not the people working the gates at Potter's Creek Park, and I could have explained that had I been hear, but I was away from home yesterday afternoon thru last night, and so did not check the site here until again today to see that they were frustrating you when you called the campground itself. Once again let me say I'm sorry and I apologize about all the confusion and frustration you been going thru about the meet, and anyone else who has been thru the same ordeal as far as that goes. I am hopeful that my posts and those made by Kai have gone a long ways towards easing any who wish to attend the meet as far as any doubts they may have about being able to get into the campground where the meet will be held and the fact that we CAN make accomodations for those who cannot get a campsite at this time because they have all been apparently reserved by now for the weekend of our meet. Thanks to ALL for your continued interest in the meet and your attempts to make plans to come, I SINCERELY hope this has not put anyone off who has interest in and a desire to come to the meet.
Sorry for your inconvnience
