Aubry, it sure is. Not many fish left in those pond now. My son has gone up there a few times this summer, all he was able to catch was a few perch. At least he got out of the house and did something.

Sparky Have you found the small pond that is over on Bruton Rd. behind that soccer complex ito get to it their is to ways the 1st way is to cross that creek that is behund the soccer fields & the 2nd way is to go north on belt line like you was going in to skeeter townto the 1st on the left follow it to the very end then turn left it will lead you to a closed gate where you can park & walk a short distance to the pond I have seen some bass & other kind from that place it has been a long time since I have back to that place it may have dried up by now

if you like fishing ponds I have a few we can get into I have caught serveral from them in fact the last couple times I was their I caught fish weighting a total of 20 pounds & that was just 4 you can ask Robert about the ponds he has gone with me last year

Aubrey, I know of the pond behind the soccer fields, but I have not fished them. My son and I go to Ray Hubbard to fish. I just recieved access to one of the dock at the marina that a friend of my wife brother-in-law has a boat there. He has told us we can fish there anytime we want. Went Sunday and got a nice 17" black bass, lost a nice cat, and released a small cat. All in about 3 hrs. It sure is nice not having to pay at the fishing pier off of Dalrock to fish. May have to try and hook up with you sometime and try out cedar creek. Hear they have some nice crippie in that lake.

Hi DR, what's up. I have not been to the chat room since the other night. I have put the date for the meet down. Will try try make it. I am about 20 miles from Lake Ray Hubbard. That is where my son and I fish most of the time. Do not have a boat yet. Seams like every time I get a little saved up for one, something happens and we go back to step one again.
