I posted yesterday about my lil trip to Champion Creek Lake south of Colorado City, any fellow West Texas fishermen opn here to share info on local lakes? Unfortunatly in west Texas we have to drive a ways to get to any good fishing areas, last time I went to Alan Henry up near Snyder right by Justiceburg, which is pretty much just an old shack lol. Mostly I've been hitting the local community fishing lakes but they only calm that fishing bug a little, I need to get out & catch those big old boys in the big lakes. Anyhow, I'm new here and hopefully will get to meet fishing lovers like me as well, I'm a novice bass fisherman but now that I have a boat I wanna go after them big ol bass, any tips will be greatly appreciated, THANX!! i will be in san angelo from the middle of oct. to christmas. i hunt from thurs til sunday, but if you can get away during the week i would love to fish more lakes up there. i have mainly fished nasworthy for bass and crappie. i need to learn more about twin buttes and fisher. colorado city is not to far off i don't think. i bring my boat with me, so i can go just about anywhere around there.
