    How far away from the Tech campus is it? I'm goin up to lubbock to visit the campus and probably gunna do some fishing up there also.

    I really have no idea, we're from Odessa and it's 1 hour & 45 minute drive from here.

    I am sure this is reaching you too late but friends of mine that live in Lubbock say that they can be on the water in 45 minutes from Lubbock.  I would also say that they may not always obey the posted speed limits so keep that in mind the next time you are in Lubbock and want to visit the lake too.
