Hello, I'm new to the forum and was wondering if any of y'all fish canyon lake? If so, what color soft plastics have you had the most luck on/ Thanks

Canyon Lake is very low right now, but even when full, the fishing is tough. You need to go into the river and between the stumps at the river's mouth to have a decent chance. A better choice would be Choke Canyon, near Three Rivers. It's known for its Bass and Catfish. Just watch for the Gators around there.

although i am not from san antonio i once went fishing at canyon lake because i was at San Antonio and had the urge to go fishing. I went to bass pro bought me some stuff and a rod and reel and headed to canyon lake… I did not catch a single nor get a single bite, my father nor my uncles or cousins had any luck neither! I dont think i was doing anything wrong!
