Went to PINS on Saturday. Only a day trip. Stopped about the 5mm. Used Fishbites, cut whiting, and squid. We boxed 3 larger whiting (12" or better). Also landed a 24" ladyfish and managed to get a 3' stingray to the shoreline before it snaped the leader. It was a good day on the beach with my grandson. I see that the NAFC has just about died in Texas again. Maybe some day this club will garnish some respect in this state. Till then I will continue to support it some. See you on the sand. Cliff

texasbulldog, It is good to here from a fellow salt water fisherman. Good luck at the Round Up. I tried the Kayak Thing but it is not for me. I am just to old. I camped at goose Island State park a couple of years ago. Very nice park. They were doing some construction on the park when we were there. Hope they are finished. Good luck and tight lines Cliff

tufffish, Thanks for the sugestion. I am a member of the corpusfishing.com and breakawayusa.com boards. They are very active when it comes to what is happening on the coast. I have looked at the multi-species board but it looked as if there was not much activity. The mullet are thick along the coast. The people doing the catching are doing a lot of traveling. Tight lines and see you on the sand. Cliff

Usually try to get to the coast (Galveston) to fish but haven't been able to get out there much this summer.  When I do I usually tie into at least 1 or 2 redfish.  Lately, I have been going to Anahuac with mixed results.  Anyone else having any luck?
