alright well i moved to vermont over the summer and i need some help on picking what  kinds of bait are best for troute. iv caught some off of littel spinners and worms but it isnt that affective. i fish in a river acrost from my house i caught a coupel nice size ones but other than that not many at all. and also i was wondering if there are northern pike. im quite sure there are but just to be sure. and if so what is the best baits to caught them with? thanks a lot.

I'm not much of a trout fisherman so I can't help you there.

As far as northerns large lures or larger live bait work well.

Not sure where you are fishing for them so its hard to be more specific.

U don't say what river, town ect. you are from??? There are pike,pickeral in most Vt.rivers thou have to go lake fishing usually for big ones. Gold mepps#3 algia for trout.
