Headwater of mettowee & tributeries where lye brook runs into mettowee 2nd bridge (culvert) stream 1 half ft wide x 2-3' deep w/sand bottom & undercut banks holds a strain of Rainbow that looks like shape of a sunny, but catch them upstream side culvert 4-5" average yet Vt. regs last i knew was 6". This Rainbow would make great breeding stock. I was wondering if anyone fishes near there and discovered this fat rainbow, yet the brookies are long and tend to be ultra skinny. I know the trout feed on chubs alot there.
