That's the way it always goes. I had a time up in Minnesota when we had the boat all loaded and packed up everything in truck. Went back down to the dock to get the stringer and behold, there was a darn northern pike of about 30 pounds staring at fish on it. Snuck off the dock and ran like hell to the truck to get my pole. Son and I got back and not only was the pike gone, but 3 of the largest walleye were all ripped to shreds. Stood there for almost an hour casting everything I had in my tackle box. No luck, not even a follow up. never saw that son-of-a-gun again.

May your line always be tight and your stringer full.
