Well, the Samish was a wash. I got there early this morning and walked to my normal fishing hole, only to find that the tide had changed the area. The salmon were swimming behind me, at least a dozen or more, up river while trying to hook up. I stayed out and my long time fishing buddy came out from work, also in the Navy. We tried some of the areas where he lost a monster that snapped is line, 17 lbs test, two days ago. They were rolling, jumping and terasing us everywhere we went. Roe, yarn, corkies, yarn with corkies, jigs and lures only produced Bullheads. Hopefully my trip on the 22nd will be better with the better tide.
