    Hey guys (or gals),
I live on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State and could use a bass fishing mentor. I've been told I live near a pretty good bass lake but you couldn't tell it by me! I have a boat to get me on the water but it's not a bass boat. It's a 16' Crestliner so I can multi-use it.
Any one out there willing/able to help me out? I know it's early but you've gotta start sometime, right?

    Hey YB,
Thanks for the reply. I have soooo many questions I don't know where to start. I'll send you a PM in the next couple days with one or two. I'm hoping to get out Saturday  and try some of the things I've read/heard but the weather has to co-operate. Maybe sometime this summer I can get to your side of the hill and we can meet up. You answered questions I had about walleye last year- unfortunately AFTER I went to Moses Lake.
      I'll be talkin' to you...

Hey there prober. First thing about Bass i can tell ya is think RAPALA!!!!! I fish almost always with a brown and black broken back rapala. They are spendy but they work well. If you are in Kitsap check out Kitsap Lake , Long Lake , and Horseshoe Lake. Mason County has Spencer , Phillips , and Mason Lake. Pierce County has Bay Lake , Crecent Lake and they are all on our side of the Narrows. Hit the lillypads hard and retrive real slow. You can also check out my other thread titled western washington big bass. It is all about bay lake and what kills em there. Good luck.

    Thanks, Sean....,
I live just a few miles from Long Lake and have been working it as much as my wife will let me!
She's really pretty understanding so I have no complaints, except there aren't enough hours in the day to do EVERYTHING!!
I'll keep trying but haven't been fishing Kitsap yet this year. I just went with a friend to put his new boat through it's trial run.
