I am in the USCG just moved to the D.C. area a few months back and am looking for a good place to take my 8 year old son Camping/Fishing. I want to be able to walk out of my tent and drop a fishing line in the water in seconds. So the place needs to have camping right next to the water, I preffer freshwater fishing.

Or head into Maryland towards the Northwest end from Frederick County up into Allegheny. We have a ton of State Parks that offer family enviroments.
