Welcome aboard James. You will find a lot of knowledgable fishermen/women here. Are there any particular species you are fishing for? Are you fishing mostly lakes, rivers etc? I will be glad to offer any advice i can.  |

howdy yall.. I'm moving to WV in a few days.. Jefferson County in the lil coperation of Ranson. My grandfather tought me to fish when I was 5 and my daughter turns 5 in Nov. so in the spring I will be teaching her. I'm 34 a Lifetime Club Member Since (12/12/2000) Lookin foward to some fishin in the area up there. |

Welcome to the Nafc Forum and Welcome to West Virginia.
We just had our very first meet today at Cabela's In Wheeling West Virginia ( Ohio County ). Stick around , its nice to not be the only one postin' in the West Virginia section. lol

Hello fellow WV anglers. I've been a member since 97, but it's been a while since I had time to surf the website. I just found this WV forum, so I hope it's not too late for an introduction... My name is Craig, from Jackson County. I'll fish for whatever will pull back from the other end of the line, but I'm finding it harder and harder to get out. I've got a trip to the Florida Keys coming up at the end of February, and I'm hoping that will re-kindle the fishing fire. If that doesn't work, my son is taking the 4-H Sportfishing project this year, so I'm going to be "forced" to fish more to help with this project. Maybe I'll see you guys on the water.. I'll be the one in the big camo canoe. |

Howdy, I think I'm doing this right. I'm in Upshur county. Around Stonecoal, Stonewall, Buckhannon river, Holly river..etc. I'm Waiting for it to warm up a bit. I've caught 2 trout and several bluegills already. I keep almost 600g of fish tanks in my house. Freshwater/tropicals. Anyway, I hope to spend some time on here before it gets to warm. See ya at the fishin' hole.  noobie :) |

HOWDY, I LIVE HERE IN THE NORTHERN PANHANDLE. JUST RETIRED 6 MONTHS AGO(AT 63) AND LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING MY 6 YEAR OLD BOY FISHING AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. I LIKE CATS MYSELF BUT THE BOY JUST WANTS FISH.I'VE BEEN EQUIPTED FOR YEARS BUT DIDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO USE IT EXCEPT WHILE CAMPING.NOT SURE WHERE TO GO BUT I'LL FIND THEM. |

I live in Weirton.I know about Tomlinson Park but have never fished there. I grew up near Baden,Pa and fished the Ohio when I was a kid.Moved to WV 6 years ago. |
