    Fellow West By God Virginians,

With trout stocking underway, I was thinking we should plan a trip for some of us to meet and fish a little.  Most of us probably have to tavel a little way to get to some good trout water anyhow, so I think i'd be a good excuse.  We can plan now and maybe have the trip in Feb or early March.

    Who's up for it?

Where you coming from and what waters do you trout fish in? I am in the Eastern Panhandle and fish the North Fork of the South Branch, Smoke Hole, Dry Fork (Tucker County), and Blackwater. I live in Mineral County and once in a while I'll fish New Creek also.

I live in the Kanawha Valley.  I was thinking Cranberry or maybe one of the dam tailwaters down here, Sutton and Summersville are both good.

I don't think I've ever fished in the Eastern panhandle.  good fishin over there?  I've gotten into Elkins before, fishing at Shaver's Fork.  Other than that I stay fairly close to home.
