Any Good Bassin in the West? Near Ky?

    Thinking of taking a camping trip some time later this year. Just wanted to know if there were any good spots near Ky. I've never fished WV before, but I would like to.

    LOL well Not to sure about where , but I have always heard good things about the kanawaha River Just Outside of Huntington.

    try east lynn lake in Wayne county, you can find info on wv dnr web page. there are taged fish . shiners preferred bait.

    I have to agree with murphy, East Lynn is great for bass. Also if you don't mind a smaller lake, Beach Fork just outside of Huntington is a good bassspot and there are some decent stripers in there also. The biggest draawback about this lake is its 10 hp motor limit if you have a very big boat.

    I agree with hunteredteacher on Beach Fork , small usually not crowed , and great for lower boat hp. I'm going there around July 16-25. will be visiting Beach Fork , and East Lynn.
