Hi to All,

I've just moved to WI after 2 yrs in Alabama. Don't know many fishos here & dying to catch a fish, especially the northern species I haven't caught yet - pike, walleyes, muskies...

Sure is cold! I've only made it out for a paddle on the yak once so far & wasn't really fishing. Sad that the trout season is over as there are plenty of trout streams around where I'm living (Mondovi/Buffalo County/near Eau Claire) as I'm keen to add a brookie to the species list, but that'll have to wait until next year.

If there are any kind locals out there that want to give me a few tips or even take me out some time, please feel free! I'm worried that I'll go stir crazy over the next 5 months of cold weather with nothing to do !! As I said, I have a kayak, but will be more than willing to share expenses if anyone wants to take me. Weekends only.
