The lake was hot this morning. We took the channel back into Gilbert and had one of the best days on the water this year. We put about 15 bass and northern in the boat today. We had such a hot top water bite going all morning. We caught all of our fish on chug bugs and skitter pops and frogs. The water has turned a little brown now with all the weeds dying off for the year.
