Some people want to know if I'm having one this year. Well I have a few things that changing: First: I having it in May the 9. This will give us better weather maybe warmer. Second: We should not have flood stage water at this time. The bad thing will be the walleye run will be over but smallies, white bass should be good. So if you want to do this let me know. On here or some have my cell. Denny

Boy, talk about mixed emotions. I won't be able to make it that weekend because I'll be walleye fishing in Minnesota. I sure wish I could do both, but I can't quite stretch that far.

I hear ya Ray Ray....that weekend is opening for pike and walleye in Minn. My former neighbor (1 year older than me....married to the gal that sat in front of me ALL through school) from when I was growing up....AND my best friend from college...both want to try to get together over those 1st few days.

Not only that....these would be some of the waters I spent time on as as a KID....and haven't fished on in over 30 years

Unfortunately...those plans were made before Denny made this initial post here

Right. That's walleye opener in Minnesota. That's why I'm going there. It's an annual thing. It's also Mothers Day weekend and I'll really miss all you mothers.

As of right now, I'll have to say I may cancel....not 100% sure yet but I will be losing my job this summer and will be moving up your way Denny. Until I get a final date of when my last day is - I have to be careful of the amount of time I take off.
