From Rhinelander to the Kings Dam in Tomahawk is now closed for the early season, this stretch will open with the inland lake opener. Is anyone as mad about this as I am. Why close an opportunity, they say it is to protect the spawners. Why not have a catch and release season? I fished the area near the Cth A Bridge for the past few years, loved it. On the water alot sooner than most of my friends and released almost everything I caught. I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO FISH WITHOUT HAVING TO TRAVEL ACROSS THE STATE......

Bummer Lawdog they do that here ( LaCrosse area) on a section of the Black River for spawning. I just fish everything else and wait for the area to open again. Lou
